Lindis Pass

Lindis Pass

From when I was 16 years old travelling to Queenstown with my family to devour the world famous Ferg Burger to when I was 27 and exploring the South Island with my boyfriend, the Lindis Pass has been a common route. It is a loyal friend that stays by your side. It quietly surprises you every time and is truly beautiful no matter what way you look at her. In the summer the Lupins are in full swing covering the fawn coloured hills with deep pinks and purples. In the winter the hills are capped with snow and the back seat of the car with a blanket seems like the cosiest place to be. The Lindis Pass reminds me that the journey can be far more beautiful that the destination. As you wind through this ever-changing landscape there is so much to see - blink and you will miss it. It is important, no, necessary to be present and experience it.

Find the thing in you that is different, that's as sharp as a diamond and jagged as a razor. Hone that, because that's the thing with which you'll cut the world.
