There are few feelings I love more in this world than capturing a portrait of someone that makes me truly feel something. Where their eyes meet mine. There is a pause, a moment where the world stops. And for some reason we are now not really that different anymore. The human face has an incredible ability to connect us. A person from a world away can feel as though they are across the table from us sharing all that is lovely and tragic in this world.

From living in a big city, I have noticed I often view people as obstacles getting in the way of me making my train on time. However, one of the biggest gifts in this world is to see and acknowledge one another for more than how we are put together.
