The Path to Mrs Macquarie's Chair

“That feeling of, but I have got to know, I have got to know it's right before I start something and the impossibility of knowing whether it's right before you start”
You know those moments where something stops you dead, as if you were in a world of your own and then without knowing it you were moments away from walking into a lamp post. As I listened to this quote from Dani Shapiro it resonated with me so deeply that I had no option but to stop, never minding the people behind me. This is what I do, I thought, this is what I do all the time. I try to outthink the risk and come up with every possible scenario that could eventuate from taking the leap into an unknown venture. The thoughts run around in circles and I tirelessly chase them with a finite amount of energy. Buts that’s the thing about circles they are an infinite loop and at some point you need to CTRL + ALT + Delete. that shit. Because ignoring the desire, those dreams or that goal is far more risky.
Here's the vibes for this weeks post
